Parents of Guadalupe Schools, we invite you to participate in this committee which is initiated by parents of this, your school Guadalupe. Teachers in Guadalupe teach our children with excellence, but the first teachers in our children's lives are the parents. This is why we invite you to participate, ask, and question about your child’s education. We have to involve ourselves more in our children’s education, and this is why PIC at Guadalupe invites you to participate in these meetings which only take part ONCE A MONTH, every first Friday of the month, at 6pm. The meetings only take ONE HOUR of your time. It is our obligation as parents to give and support our child’s school. Please take the time to come to these meetings, which are initiated by parents of Guadalupe. The meetings will be in Spanish and in English. We will touch upon subjects that have to do with our child’s education. If you have any questions, concerns or what is most important want to participate in your child’s education, we ask you please to come to these meetings, which do not take too much time.
This committee is initiated for the parents at Guadalupe and for our children. The group is in charge of organizing, and in addition, gives and initiates ideas for the following events among others:
- Halloween
- Septembers Day of Caring
- And the Yard Sale, funds from which are for Guadalupe, our children's school
Of course, you are invited to these events, but we also ask you to participate in organizing, giving ideas and participation as parents of your children’s school.
